HCCA & APCL Umpiring Program

Professional officiating for APCL and HCCA-sanctioned matches across Round Rock and Hutto

HCCA runs a centralized umpiring panel for APCL and club-sanctioned cricket. Our standard is clear: fair match control, consistent decision-making, and respectful game environments.

The panel supports fixtures at both Hill Country Cricket Ground (HCCG) and Hutto Cricket Ground, with alignment to USA Cricket and ICC learning pathways.

Program pillars

Neutral assignments

Assignments are coordinated centrally to improve fairness and consistency across divisions.

Training and certification

Officials are encouraged on USA Cricket and ICC-aligned learning tracks.

Quality and feedback

Post-match feedback loops support ongoing improvement and panel development.

How the assignment model works

  1. Panel readiness

Active officials are evaluated for availability, training stage, and division suitability.

  2. Match allocation

League operations assign umpires with neutrality goals and practical travel/venue balance.

  3. Review cycle

Feedback and incident notes are captured to support coaching, recognition, and quality standards.
