1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Hill Country Cricket Association (\"HCCA\") programs, facilities, or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Membership
- Eligibility: Adult membership is for individuals 18+, youth membership for players 17 and under with parent/guardian consent, and family membership covers one adult plus up to two youth.
- Registration: Membership is completed through our online registration and consent/waiver forms hosted on Google Forms within our HCCA Google Workspace.
- Fees: Membership fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline before participation in leagues, practices, or events (\"No Fees, No Play\").
3. Code of Conduct
All members, participants, and visitors must follow HCCA's Code of Conduct and policies, including:
- Treating others with respect, fairness, and good sportsmanship.
- Following league rules, umpire decisions, and facility guidelines.
- Refraining from harassment, discrimination, bullying, or abusive behavior.
- Not using alcohol, tobacco, or illegal substances on HCCA grounds.
4. Facilities and Safety
Members agree to use HCCA facilities responsibly, follow posted safety rules, and ensure youth players are supervised as required. HCCA may remove or suspend anyone whose behavior endangers safety or significantly disrupts programs.
5. Payments and Refunds
- Membership and program fees are generally non-refundable once the season or program begins, except at the HCCA Board's discretion.
- Payment methods include bank transfer, eCheck, credit/debit cards, and PayPal, processed through trusted third-party providers.
- Members seeking financial assistance should contact the HCCA Board; limited scholarship funds may be available.
6. Waivers and Assumption of Risk
Cricket and related activities involve inherent risks of injury. By registering yourself or your child, you agree to the terms of HCCA's consent and liability waiver forms and assume these risks to the extent permitted by law.
7. Third-Party Services
HCCA uses third-party services such as CricClubs (for league management and scores), payment processors, and email services. Your use of those services is also governed by their separate terms and privacy policies.
8. Termination of Membership
The HCCA Board may suspend or terminate membership for violation of these Terms, non-payment of fees, or conduct that is harmful to participants, officials, facilities, or the reputation of HCCA. Fees paid may be non-refundable in such cases.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HCCA and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in HCCA activities or use of our website or facilities. This does not limit liability where prohibited by applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The \"Last updated\" date above will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
