Dear HCCA Members,
I am incredibly honored and humbled to address you as your newly elected President. On behalf of myself and the entire Board of Directors for the term 2026–2027, we send our warmest greetings to you and your families.
First, I want to extend a massive thank you to our outgoing Board of Directors — Sanjay, Tushar, Srikanth, Ajay, and Mahab. Your hard work and dedication over the last term set a strong foundation for us to build upon, and your support during the transition and enablement process has been invaluable.
January 2026 has been an extraordinary month of transition and preparation. Your volunteer Board has been working tirelessly — contributing over 15-20 BOD meetings,350+ volunteer hours and exchanging 2,500+ WhatsApp messages — to ensure HCCA is ready for an outstanding 2026 season.
Cricket is not just a game to us; it is a shared passion that unites our community. As we embark on this new chapter together, our focus will be on transparency, development, and inclusivity, ensuring that every player, official, and supporter feels valued.
Dig in, play straight, and enjoy the game. The scoreboard matters, but the spirit matters more.
Warm regards,
Siva Busa
President, HCCA
January was a month of intense behind-the-scenes work to prepare for the 2026 season. Here’s a snapshot of the volunteer leadership effort.

Focus areas covered: transition activities, board governance, captains/league planning, financials, youth program structure and pricing, infrastructure development, and county/grounds discussions.
The operational transition from the previous Board to the new 2026–2027 leadership is now largely complete. Key developments include:
Treasurer Transition
After the November 15 AGM, the Treasurer resigned in December 2025. The Board subsequently completed the appointment of a new Treasurer effective January 1, 2026 to ensure financial continuity and stability through December 31, 2026. Transition activities included bank signatory updates and the transfer of financial documents and responsibilities.
Bylaws, Conflict of Interest & Post-AGM Activities
All Bylaws and AGM meeting minutes were certified and approved as the new team took over from January 1, 2026, ensuring a clean handover of governance documentation. All Board members have signed the updated Conflict of Interest Policy, reinforcing our commitment to transparent and ethical governance in compliance with 501(c)(3) requirements.
